Where does Disscount get its prices?
Since May 15, 2025, retail chains in Croatia have been legally required to publish their prices. Disscount gets them through the open Cijene API project, which collects the stores' official price lists every day.
Is Disscount really free?
Yes. Product search, price comparison, price history and shopping lists are free and stay free.
Which stores can I compare?
Disscount covers 25+ retail chains across Croatia, including Konzum, Lidl, Plodine, Spar, Kaufland, Tommy, Studenac, Eurospin and dm.
Do I need an account?
Not for searching and comparing prices: that works straight away. You only need an account to save shopping lists and use your watchlist.
How do I scan a product barcode?
Press Scan barcode, allow camera access and point the camera at the barcode on the product. Disscount opens that product at once, with prices in every store.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. You can install Disscount as an app on your phone or computer, and your saved lists and viewed products are available offline too. Changes sync automatically when you're back online.
